Importing Recipes

Preserves makes it easy to save recipes from anywhere. If that is from a photo, a screenshot, a social media post, a website, or a text document, you can save it to your collection.
Here we will show you how to preserve your favorite recipes from your favorite platforms and organize them in Preserves.
From Images
- Open the app and tap the “Add Recipe” button.
- Select the Camera Option.
- Take a photo of the recipe.
- Upload the image and wait for the recipe to be extracted.
- The recipe will be automatically extracted and saved to your collection.
- If the image contains multiple recipes, we will extract all of them as separate recipes.
From TikTok
- Open a TikTok video and tap the “Share” button.
- Select “Preserves” from the share options.
- The recipe will be automatically extracted and saved to your collection.
- Note: You can also copy the link of the TikTok video and paste it into the “Add Recipe” input field. Preserves will automatically extract the ingredients and instructions.
From YouTube / YouTube Shorts

Open a YouTube or YouTube Shorts video and tap the “Share” button.

Select “Preserves” from the share options.

The recipe will be automatically extracted and saved to your collection.

Note: You can also copy the link of the YouTube or YouTube Shorts video and paste it into the “Add Recipe” input field. Preserves will automatically extract the ingredients and instructions.
From Websites
- Copy the URL of the website and paste it into the “Add Recipe” input field, or share the website to Preserves.
- Select “Preserves” from the share options when sharing the website.
- The recipe will be automatically extracted and saved to your collection.
